My name is Ramesh Ranjan. My life goal is to help others.

I help businesses grow online for a living, working for an Internet Marketing agency called ElementIQ.

I have lived in Richmond, B.C. all my life and love giving back to the community that raised me. I am the Vice-President of The Heart of Richmond AIDS Society. I serve on the Board of Directors for the West Richmond Community Association and Richmond Youth Services Agency.

I used my 27th birthday to raise $1700 for people living with HIV in Richmond.

I have volunteered on a number of election campaigns. Mostly recently, I volunteered for Jack Trovato and Scott Stewart in their campaigns in the 2015 federal election for the New Democratic Party in Richmond. I have also supported friends Carol Day and Rick Peterson in their respective bids for office. Carol Day is now a Richmond City Councillor and has been strong community advocate.

I’ve been a contributor to the Huffington Post, the HubSpot Insiders Blog, Social Media Today, Small Business BC and ConvinceandConvert.com.

  1. Hi Ramesh,
    I just read your article on How to Write Great Meta Descriptions. It was excellent!
    I’ve written a blog piece that I’ll be publishing soon, but I now want to go back and make sure I’m leveraging the content per your advice. You mentioned creating a separate meta description that should be uploaded along with the main piece, yes? Also, I understand that using keywords are also very important. To determine the best keywords, would I use Google Analytics for this? Thanks!
